Job Description:
The Business Intelligence Analyst will collaborate closely with the BI and Analytics team to translate data into actionable insights. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in SQL Development, preferably with experience in SQL Server or Snowflake, and data visualization using Tableau. While proficiency in Python is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL Development and experience with SQL Server or Snowflake.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools, particularly Tableau.
- Familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Strong Data experience (SQL)
- Prior experience with Sales Data, Commission Data is a plus
- Prior experience with budgeting or forecasting is plus
- Collaborate with end users to gather requirements and develop reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide valuable insights into company performance.
- Work with sales and commission data to derive meaningful insights.
- Optimize existing reports for automation within our BI environment.
- Ensure data accuracy and develop interactive visualizations tailored for non-technical audiences.
- Participate in the entire BI development lifecycle, from requirement definition to production deployment.
- Document metric definitions, report tracker information, and calculations, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
- Provide recommendations to business leaders on leveraging analytics for strategic decision-making.
- Continuously improve reporting processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead stakeholder meetings and train business partners on dashboard usage and interpretation.
- Provide support for Help Desk tickets related to data requests and reporting.
- Communicate clearly through verbal, written, and presentation formats, adhering to proper grammar and formatting standards.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Uphold team values, exceed service expectations, and maintain ethical standards.
This is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office.
